Who is Mythical Meats?

Mythical Meats is snack company based out Camp Hill, Pennsylvania that specializes in creating jerky and other meat-based products. Originally founded in 2019, they’ve since released a series of products based around creatures from fantasy and mythology which use a variety of unusual meats.

For example, their Basilisk snack is made out of alligator, their Griffin snack is a combination of beef and ostrich, and their Phoenix variety is made from spicy turkey. The company distributes primarily to the US, but you may be able to find their products in both small and larger grocery stores.

Final Thoughts

This past year has seen Dungeons & Dragons take on some unusual collaborations, with everything from postage stamps and Hawaiian shirts to sneakers and whiskey. The collaboration with Mythical Meats, however, definitely sets a new bar in terms of strangeness, but it’s one that does actually sound pretty tasty. We’re just glad they aren’t offering any orc jerky.

If you’re feeling adventurous, you can order the Dungeons & Dragons Adventurer’s Rations Class Pack from the Mythical Meat’s website.
