New BlackMilk DnD Fashion Line Launched for 50th Anniversary

This year officially marks the 50th anniversary Dungeons & Dragons and to commemorate the event, Wizards of the Coast has been partnering with a number of different brands, including several major fashion and apparel lines. This includes a collaboration on a series of new DnD Hawaiian shirts from Reyn Spooner, as well as line of limited-edition DnD Converse shoes & shirts.

More recently, Wizards of the Coast has recently unveiled a partnership with longtime urban clothing designer BlackMilk on a new DnD fashion line consisting of a range of shirts, dresses, jackets and other apparel.

So will these BlackMilk DnD designs grant proficiency on your next Charisma check? Below we break out all the details and take a closer look at the full product line.

What are the BlackMilk DnD clothing designs?

The new BlackMilk DnD fashion line is being released as part of the 50th anniversary of Dungeons & Dragon and features artwork provided by the Wizards of the Coast as well as new designers. In many cases, the art is fairly subtle and only a close inspection will reveal the geek-friendly nature of the piece. The range of apparel includes t-shirts, dresses, shorts and even a bomber jacket featuring iconic art of the lich Acererak.

Most of the items retail for around $100 USD and all of them can be purchased online from BlackMilk directly or through various brick and mortar retailers (although they are limited edition, so may sell out relatively quickly).

Notably, the full product line was released globally on April 9th, 2024, so it may not be available in certain locations just yet.

Final Thoughts

While the new BlackMilk DnD 50th anniversary apparel might not be for everyone, there’s no denying they’re stylish and more than just an attempt to cash in by slapping on the DnD brand onto a few t-shirts. They might not bump up your Armor Class, but they’re definitely a fashion statement.

If you’re interested in getting your own design, you can purchase them now from the BlackMilk website.

Cameron Nichols is a Senior Editor who lives in Boston, Massachusetts, and has been playing D&D since the early 90s, when he was introduced by his older brother and cut his teeth on AD&D 2nd Edition. Since then he’s played virtually every RPG he could get his nerdy little mitts on (including a weird Goth phase in the early 2000s when he rocked Vampire: The Masquerade pretty hard). His favorite D&D campaign setting is the Forgotten Realms and his favorite character to play was a Half-Orc Barbarian named Grug (who was unfortunately devoured by a gelatinous cube).
