“Stranger Things: Heroes of Hellfire” D&D Minis Coming from WizKids

Recently, Wizards of the Coast announced a new Stranger Things D&D Box known as Welcome to the Hellfire Club which is slated for release in October 2025. As a tie in, popular third-party accessory creator WizKids also unveiled a new of D&D miniatures entitled “Heroes of Hellfire.” The set will feature six of the D&D characters featured in Stranger Things and will available towards the end of 2026. You can pre-order them now from WizKids or Amazon.
So just what can we expected with these new minis hit? We head back to Hawkins to find out.
What are the new Heroes of Hellfire D&D minis?
The new WizKids minis are sold as a complete set that contains six characters, each of which is based on a D&D character one of the Stranger Things group played in the show as part of the Hellfire Club. All are pre-painted, table ready and can be used with the upcoming Welcome to the Hellfire Club D&D Box set. They are:
- Will the Wise (played by Will Byers)
- Tayr the Paladin (played by Mike Wheeler)
- Sundar the Bold (played by Lucas Sinclair)
- Nog the Dwarf (played by Dustin Henderson)
- Lady Applejack (played by Erica Sinclair)
- Vecna (the D&D version of the character, rather than the Vecna from the show)
How much are the new Stranger Things D&D minis?
WizKids’ new “Heroes of Hellfire” minis will retail $34.99 USD (not including shipping and handling).
When are the new Stranger Things D&D minis coming out?
The new minis are slated for release in Q4 of 2025 (so sometime between October and December).
Final Thoughts
There’s no doubt that Stranger Things has had a massive impact on the recent popularity of Dungeons & Dragons, so it’ll be interesting to see if the new Welcome to the Hellfire Club box set and these new tie-minis continues to build on that momentum.
