Beadle & Grimm’s Unveils New “Dragon Delves DM Vault”

This July, Wizards of the Coast will be releasing the new Dragon Delves anthology, which features 10 never-before-published D&D adventures, each of which is focused around a specific dragon type. As part of the release, popular third-party RPG publisher Beadle & Grimm’s recently announced a new tie-in product that will be coming out around the same time.

The Dragon Delves DM Vault, is a high-end collectible box set that contains maps, player hands outs, encounter cards, additional source material and even a custom made artifact – all of which ties into the new anthology. The collection will be released late this summer and is available for pre-order now via the B&G website.

So what new material lurks in the depths of Beadle & Grimm’s Dragon Delves DM Vault? Below, we dive into all the details.

What’s included in the DM Vault for “Dragon Delves“?

The new Dragon Delves DM Vault will be the first offering from Beadle & Grimm’s to feature the new DnD 2024 rules. The box set will contain the following:

  • 28 encounter cards: These quick reference cards feature new art and use the stat format from the 2024 Monster Manual.
  • 22 battle maps:  The set includes large scale maps that are also gridded for use with miniatures.
  • 3 player maps: These maps can be handed to players to build atmosphere and allow players to plan their tactics.
  • 4 in-world handouts: These include printed song lyrics, a recipe, a hand-drawn map and a list of goods – all of which tie in to various adventures.
  • Artifact: This physical object is designed to accompany one of the Dragon Delves adventure and is a metallic holy symbol of the demon prince Orcus.
  • DM Aid: The box set also offers supplemental material that provides different ways to connect all ten adventures into a single connected campaign that can take a party from Level 1 to 12. It also includes new ideas for character construction using the 2024 Players Handbook.

It is, however, discounted to $108 USD if you pre-order before April 23rd, 2025 (after which it will return to regular price). The new Dragon Delves DM Vault will be released in August 2025. The base Dragon Delves book from Wizards of the Coast will be available on July 8th, 2025 on D&D Beyond and Amazon – although you’ll get it several weeks earlier if you pre-ordered it.

This means that you should be able to use the new Beadle & Grimm’s content shortly after the launch of the book from WotC.

Final Thoughts

The new Dragon Delves box set from Beadle & Grimm’s is actually the second DM Vault B&G has produced, following the publication of their DM Vault for Planescape back in 2023. It’s great to see B&G continuing to produce high quality content for new Dungeons & Dragons products and supporting the new 2024 rules. Dragon Delves itself also sounds like a solid offering as another entry Wizards of the Coast’s line of DnD anthology books. We’ll be taking a closer look at both of these products closer to launch.

In the meantime, you can pre-order your copy of the new Dragon Delves DM Vault now via the B&G website.
