New DnD Dice Unveiled for Pride Month Charity

As June officially ushers in Pride Month, Wizards of the Coast has just launched a new set of DnD dice in conjunction with Sirius Dice and iconic designer Daniel Quasar. The dice be limited to just 1,500 sets and for each set that’s sold $30 will be donated to the Trevor Project, an organization that helps at-risk LGBTQ+ youth.
The dice are part of an annual tradition from WotC, with the company releasing DnD pride shirts along with other items during last last year’s Pride Month. It’s worth noting that last year’s shirts sold out fairly quickly and it’s expected that these limited-edition dice sets will also be snapped up. You can pick them up now while supplies last from the Sirius Dice website.
Below we also take a close at what these new rainbow rollers are all about.
What are the new DnD Pride Dice?
The new 2024 pride DnD dice are designed by Daniel Quasar, a noted American artist and designer who in 2018 created the now iconic “Progress” Pride Flag, which incorporates the traditional rainbow flag with additional colors representing marginalized communities.
Quasar also happens to be a fan of DnD and in a press release from Wizards of the Coast noted that “playing tabletop RPGs has changed my life significantly so getting to experience them from a different perspective has been amazing. My hope with this dice set is that LGBTQ+ players will feel seen, represented and proud as they roll, knowing that someone on the inside is just like them and just as excited to play.”
While the dice are designed by Quasar, they’re being produced by Sirius Dice, a New York based dice company that has worked with Wizards of the Coast over the years on several licensed products, including a line of Dungeons & Dragons dice sets.
Final Thoughts
Over the years we’ve covered other DnD dice sets before, but these new Pride Dice look amazing and support a fantastic cause at the same time. It’s great to see Wizards of the Coast continuing to support Pride Month initiatives, while also helping to creator a product that fans will genuinely enjoy.
If you’re interested in picking up one of these limited edition dice sets, you can grab them while supplies last from the Sirius Dice website.
