New DnD Pride Shirt Unveiled for Charity

Wizards of the Coast celebrates Pride Month with new DnD and Magic: The Gathering merchandise

As Pride Month officially kicks off, Wizards of the Coast has launched a variety of new apparel and merchandise, with all proceeds from the sales being donated to The Trevor Project, the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ youth.

Throughout the month of June, fans will be able to purchase the new DnD pride shirt, along with hoodies and tank tops featuring a revamped version of the classic DnD logo. In the past, similar merchandise has sold out extremely quickly, and it’s likely that will be the case this year.

Wizards Continues To Support Multiple Charities

While Wizards of the Coast’s reputation has taken a bit of a hit this past year in the wake of the OGL scandal and a few other PR blunders, there’s no denying that the organization remains a major supporter of numerous charities, including Extra Life, Black Girls CODE, and the World Association of Girl Guides & Girl Scouts. They also recently released the Misplaced Monsters supplement, with all proceeds supporting the Seattle Children’s Hospital and Seattle Children’s Autism Center.

For 2023 Pride Month, they’re particularly focused on The Trevor Project’s Every Single One campaign, which is an ongoing an effort to raise critical funds and awareness with a goal of ending suicide among LGBTQ young people.

The new DnD Pride shirt and other products will be available online until June 30th, 2023. You can purchase them now while supplies last via the official Wizards of the Coast merch store: https://mtgproshop.com/pride

Cameron Nichols is a Senior Editor who lives in Boston, Massachusetts, and has been playing D&D since the early 90s, when he was introduced by his older brother and cut his teeth on AD&D 2nd Edition. Since then he’s played virtually every RPG he could get his nerdy little mitts on (including a weird Goth phase in the early 2000s when he rocked Vampire: The Masquerade pretty hard). His favorite D&D campaign setting is the Forgotten Realms and his favorite character to play was a Half-Orc Barbarian named Grug (who was unfortunately devoured by a gelatinous cube).
