A new third-party D&D 5E book has officially cross-pollinated onto a whole new ecosystem, with Hit Point Press’ The Field Guide to Floral Dragons now available on D&D Beyond.
First blossoming to life on Kickstarter back in the spring of 2024 as an unofficial third-party D&D product, the book raked in over $1.6 million USD from more than 13,000 backers, blending flower power with dragons to create a mix of new stat blocks, subclasses, species, spells and magic items.

What’s in the original Field Guide to Floral Dragons?
The Field Guide to Floral Dragons is the brainchild of illustrator Kin Wald, who first collaborated on the project with Hit Point Press by designing a series of flower-themed dragons on Patreon. The final supplement is 222 pages in length and designed for the D&D 5.5E rules, drawing inspiration from books like Dragonology and How to Train Your Dragon.
The original book includes 28 monster stat blocks, 12 new magic items, three new subclasses and a complete adventure. Notably, the book took home a Silver 2026 ENNIE Award for Best Interior Art.

New Monster Stat Blocks
The book includes 28 floral dragon species and monsters.
