Wizards of the Coast has just released a free adventure on D&D Beyond as a tie in to their new actual play series. Entitled the Dungeon Masters: Zombie Clot Play-Along Pack, it features a short standalone encounter inspired by the first episode of the new show. It also offers a sneak peek at two news monster stat blocks that will be featured in the upcoming sourcebook Ravenloft: The Horrors Within.
This marks the first of several new Play-Along Packs that will be released in the coming weeks as tie-ins to episodes of the Dungeon Masters actual play (although future packs will require you to pre-order The Horrors Within on D&D Beyond to be able to access them). In the meantime, you can snag the new zombie clot encounter for free on D&D Beyond. Below, we rip apart all the details.

What’s included in the Dungeon Masters: Zombie Clot Play-Along Pack?
The new play pack is designed for level 5 characters and takes place in Sithicus, the Ravenloft Domain of Dread ruled by the Darklord Soth of Dragonlance fame. The encounter kicks off in the village of Hroth, which is facing an undead outbreak after a local doctor attempted to resurrect his family using a nearby magical bog.
The encounter involves a bit of social interaction along with combat and can be wrapped up in an hour or so. It includes a map that’s designed to be used with the D&D Beyond Maps VTT, along with general DM notes. It also includes stat blocks for two new monsters that will be included in Ravenloft: The Horrors Within. They are the Zombie Clot ( A huge undead entity formed from a rotting corpses) and a Swarm of Zombie Limbs (a collection of independent, reanimated appendages).
Notably, the material in the Play-Along-Pack is inspired by concepts created by Dungeon Masters series DM Jasmine Bhullar, with the first two episodes having just aired on April 22nd, 2026.

Final Thoughts
It’s interesting to see Wizards of the Coast finally rolling the dice on it’s own D&D actual play series and including bonus playable content feels like a smart move. It also seems to tie-in nicely to the new D&D franchise model, with fans also able to get a preview of new content coming out in Ravenloft: The Horrors Within.
You can check out the Dungeon Masters: Zombie Clot Play-Along Pack for yourself now on D&D Beyond.
