WizKids Rolls Out a Major New Wave of D&D Minis

Dungeons & Dragon’s official mini producer WizKids has just revealed the latest wave in their’ popular Nolzur’s Marvelous Miniatures line. Slated for release in August 2026, the set contains almost two dozen new miniatures, featuring a range of creatures, classes and characters taken from the 2024 D&D 5.5E core rule books. As with previous waves, all of the minis are unpainted, but are pre primed so they’re ready to go right out of the box. You can check out the complete collection and pre-order them now from your local game store, the WizKids website and on Amazon.

Notably, this marks the 29th Wave of Nolzur’s Marvelous Miniatures, with the series going strong for almost a decade and WizKids remaining the only manufacturer to have the official Dungeons & Dragons miniatures license from Wizards of the Coast. Below, we take a closer look at what to expect.

What’s included in this latest Nolzur’s Marvelous Miniatures wave?

There are 23 minis which range in price from $5.99 to $39.99 for larger figures. Collectively, they’re broken out into Character Classes, Monsters and NPCs. It’s also worth noting that some contain two figures in a single pack. They are as follows:

These are all 6 sets all based on the new class/species art featured in the 2024 Player’s Handbook.

There are 11 monsters that are all taken from the 2025 Monster Manual.

There are six sets of mins that can be used as neutral or hosticle NPCs. Notably, many of these lean heavily into the Forgotten Realms setting.

What is the Nolzur’s Marvelous Miniatures line?

Nolzur’s Marvelous Miniatures is the ine of unpainted plastic minis from WizKids that uses the official Dungeons & Dragons license from Wizards of the Coast. Each figure comes factory-coated in primer, meaning technically no prep work is required and you jump straight into painting. They are designed primarily for use at the table during D&D, and the scale means they work particularly well with gridded battlemaps.

First launched in 2017, the line is organized into “Waves” that are designed to tie-in to recent official D&D product launches, using official Wizards of the Coast art and designs as a starting point. Notably, many of the designs from Nolzur’s Marvelous Miniatures are also repurposed for WizKids’ D&D Icons of the Realms line, which consists of pre-painted minis constructed out of more flexible polymer material.

Final Thoughts

When it comes to miniatures for Dungeons & Dragons, there’s no shortage of unofficial sources. When it comes to quality and using official D&D designs from Wizards of the Coast, however, it’s hard to beat WizKids and the Nolzur’s Marvelous Miniatures sets.

We’ll be keeping a close eye on the new wave closer to launch, but in the meantime you can pre-order the minis now from your local game store, the WizKids website and on Amazon.
