What’s “The Warriors & Wizards Compendium” Young Adventurer’s Guide about?

The latest D&D Young Adventurer’s Guide is 272 pages and published by Ten Speed Press (an imprint of Penguin Random House). The book is written by popular comic book creator and longtime D&D contributor Jim Zub, his wife, writer Stacy King, and British comic book writer Andrew Wheeler. Notably all three have collaborated on all the past Young Adventurer’s Guides.

When will “The Warriors & Wizards Compendium” be released?

The book will be released on November 4th, 2025, at which time it will be available at both online and physical retailers.

The hardcover version of this latest Young Adventurer’s Guide retails for $25.99 USD, with the digital Kindle version selling for $12.99 USD.

What are the D&D Young Adventurer’s Guides?

Over the past few years there have been nine books published in the series. All are designed for readers between the ages of 7 and 13 and can be read in any order, covering the basics of D&D lore without really getting into any rules. They are as follows:

It’s great to see the Young Adventurer’s Guides continue to go strong as they’re the perfect way to get the next generation of players into Dungeons & Dragons and the TTRPG hobby as a whole.
