Los Angeles-based apparel company Loungefly has just unveiled a new way for Dungeons & Dragons fans to carry their loot, with a new officially licensed D&D Full-Scale Backpack. The high-end bag is made with a variety of different fabrics and materials and includes a detachable coin bag with drawstring. You can pick it up now from select retailers and the Loungefly website.
So is this new D&D branded backpack worth adding to your adventuring kit? Below, we pop it open and take a look inside.
What is Loungefly’s new D&D backpack?
Loungefly’s new backpack features official Dungeons & Dragons branding include a D&D logo rivet, D20-themed buckles and embroidered dice symbols along the straps. In terms of size, it’s 14-inches wide, 16.5-inches high and has a depth of 6.5-inches, so can definitely hold a decent amount of weight (for context, that size puts on par with a standard school backpack).
The bag also includes several unique features that will likely appeal to D&D players, including velcro straps with buckles that allow you to secure rolled-up maps, along with a fold-out, stow-away dice tray that’s built directly into the bag. A detachable drawstring bag can also be used to store dice, minis or other accessories.

How much is Loungefly’s new D&D backpack?
The new bag retails for $120 USD (not including shipping and handling). While that’s definitely a bit on the pricey side, it is in line with other Loungefly releases, especially those that feature custom hardware, a major IP license and added functional components.
