FanRoll Gets Frosty With New D&D Advent Calendar

The countdown to the holidays has begun, and if you’re a tabletop RPG fan there’s no better way to celebrate than with a good old fashioned D&D advent calendar. And while there are a ton of them on the market, over the years dice maker FanRoll has earned a top spot for their high-quality calendars.

Their latest offering is the Frostmaiden’s Aurora Advent Calendar, which features the official Dungeons & Dragons license and marks the 12 days of Christmas with a dice tray, two dice sets, two D20s (including an exclusive “mega” variant) and a custom dice bag. You can pick it up now from your local game store or the FanRoll website.

So will this new D&D advent calendar have you rolling through a winter wonderland? Below, we unwrap all the details.

What’s included in the new Frostmaiden’s Aurora D&D Advent Calendar?

The new calendar contains 12 individual panels (leading up to Christmas) and includes the following:

  • A set of 7 standard-sized inclusion dice (each of which are transparent and contains a different winter-themed adventurers item inside it)
  • A set of 7 blue mini dice (notably, the highest number on each dice features the D&D ampersand)
  • 1 standard-sized green liquid core D20
  • 1 “mega” sized blue D20
  • A winter-themed dice bag
  • A collapsible dice tray

Notably, the set features imagery associated with the legendary D&D winter goddess Auril of the Forgotten Realms, who is also the primary antagonist in the popular Rime of the Frostmaiden campaign.

How much is the Frostmaiden D&D Advent Calendar?

The calendar retails for $64.99 USD, which is fairly comparable to what we see with these kinds of sets. And while you can definitely find cheaper dice calendars on the market, few are going to have the official D&D license or be as high quality as what FanRoll produces.

In fact, the company has earned a solid reputation for the dice they produce, so you really do get what you pay for when it comes to the calendar, and it’s not a bad price considering you’re getting two sets of dice, a dice tray, two D20s and a collector’s bag.

What other D&D advent calendars are available from Fanroll?

Over the past few years, FanRoll has really made a name for themselves with their dice calendars (which they also offer for both Halloween and Valentine’s Day). They also have a new 2025 Dice Advent Calendar available which includes all 25 days leading up to Christmas and retails for $59.99 USD.

Final Thoughts

If you’re a dice goblin (or shopping for the holidays for one) then this new officially licensed dice advent calendar looks like another solid option from FanRoll, celebrating everyone’s favorite time of the year and paying homage to D&D’s winter goddess herself.

You can pick up the new Frostmaiden’s Aurora Advent Calendar now from your local game store or the FanRoll website.
