New D&D Mr Potato Head Beholder Minis Sprout Up
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
A new miniature is coming soon from WizKids that combine two beloved pop culture franchises into one bizarre creation. Enter the Dungeons & Dragons Mr Potato Head Beholder. There are actually two variations of this sinister spud that were unveiled at the GAMA Expo 2025 toy fair in Colombus, Ohio.
The first is a standard mini that will be available for sale in the summer of 2025 at both physical and online retailers (you can pre-order now it via the WizKids website). The second is a convention exclusive variant that will only be available at select events where WizKids has a merchandise booth presence. It’s worth noting that they are not the same size as the larger toy version of Mr Potato Head, but rather are 3-inch tall miniatures that fit on 50 mm bases, making them about the same size as a larger format miniature from WizKids. It’s also worth noting that this is the first time D&D has collaborated with the Potato Head line, which is odd given that both are Hasbro properties, and we’ve seen Potatofied versions of other pop culture franchises such as Star Wars and Marvel Comics.
So what can we expect when these new Mr Potato Heads sprout up? Below, dig up all the dirt.

What’s included in the standard Potato Head Beholder mini?
The standard D&D Mr Potato Head Beholder mini will retail for $24.99 and features a variety of interchangeable accessories, including:
- 8 standard eye stalks
- 1 blue lightning ray eye stalk
- 1 orange fire ray eye stalk
- 1 central eye
- 1 central eye with lashes
- 1 angry central eye
- 1 pair of glasses
- 1 box of holding
- 1 hat
- 1 mustache mouth
- 1 pair of fanged teeth
- 1 pair of red lips
- 1 tongue

What’s included in the Con-Exclusive Mr Potato Head Beholder mini?
The Con-Exclusive Mr Potato Head will only be available at select events where WizKids has a merchandise booth. The first will be at GAMA Expo, with other conventions to be announced. Notably, WizKids usually attends major gaming cons, including Gen Con, Gary Con and Adepticon, so chances are you’ll be able to pick one up then. An exact price of the con exclusive variant hasn’t been confirmed, nor is it clear how many copies are available. If it’s limited, you may want to snag one as soon as you can, since these kind of collectibles can often go for a small fortune on eBay and the secondary market after they sell out.

The con exclusive mini includes the following accessories (all of which are fully interchangeable with the standard version):
- 8 standard eye stalks
- 1 red lightning ray eye stalk
- 1 blue fire ray eye stalk
- 1 central eye
- 1 wizard hat
- 1 mustache mouth

Final Thoughts
WizKids is probably best known for their range of Dungeons & Dragons miniatures, but this latest foray into the world of Mr Potato head does look pretty awesome. And it’s a collaboration that makes sense when you think about it. Both are round, both are adorable in their own way and both have plenty of eyes.
We’ll be keeping a close eye of our own on this release in the days ahead and will update this page with more information as it becomes available. In the meantime, you can pre-order it on the WizKids website.
