Help D&D Artist Meagan Kenreck in Her Battle With Breast Cancer

Longtime D&D production artist and social media influencer Meagan Kenreck was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and has just launched a GoFundMe to help offset the costs of her extensive treatments. Kenreck has been an employee of Wizards of the Coast for the past five years, working primarily as a graphic designer on a number of D&D products. In addition, she has also starred in several D&D actual play series and producing online videos focused on the TTRPG space. She is also the wife of former Wizards of the Coast videographer and popular D&D content creator Todd Kenreck.

The crowdfunder will help the Kenrecks (who are based in the Seattle, Washington area) to offset the costs of doctor appointments, MRIs, biopsies, consultations and medication. The campaign has already had the backing of a number of fans and major D&D influencers and celebrities, including Critical Role’s Matt Mercer. The costs for cancer treatment in the US, however, can easily stretch into hundreds of thousands of dollars or more (even with insurance), so the support here is definitely needed

You can sign up now to support the Kenrecks on GoFundMe.

Final Thoughts

The need to turn to crowdfunding to offset medical costs has become a sad reality for millions of Americans. Yet if the D&D community has taught us anything, it’s that it’s always willing to rally around those in need.
