If you’re a Dungeons & Dragons map junkie, chances are you’ve heard of Czepeku. The artistic duo – comprised of brothers Czepiel and Peku – have been working professionally for over a decade and made a name for themselves with their intricately designed digital maps for use with D&D and other TTRPGs.
Now, the popular map makers are making its way to D&D Beyond, with a series of digital maps. The new Czepeku Map Packs features 20 individual maps which are fully integrated with D&D Beyond. It marks the first time that a third-party map product has appeared on Wizards of the Coast’s once closely guarded digital platform. It also comes hot on the heels of the collapse of the Sigil VTT, with WotC pivoting to their more traditional 2D D&D Beyond Maps platform.
So just what new Czepeku designs are available? Below, we map out all the details.

Who is Czepeku?
Czepeku is a team of fantasy artists best known for their digital battle maps for use with Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder and other fantasy TTRPGs. The brand was originally founded by two brothers Czepiel and Peku, whose names form the portmanteau “Czepeku.” The brothers initially launched a successful Patreon in 2019, which has since grown in size and popularity thanks to their significant output of work and social media presence.
Over the years, Czepeku has expanded to include dynamic lighting and other interactive elements and they’ve released hundreds of map variants, including day/night cycles, seasonal versions, and different terrain effects, many of which are optimized for virtual tabletops like Roll20 and Foundry VTT. In addition to their battle maps, they also produce world maps, asset packs and custom commissions.

What’s included in the Czepeku Map Packs on D&D Beyond?
As of May 6th, 2025, there are 20 digital Czepeku map packs available for purchase on D&D Beyond. They are as follows:
- Archeological Dig
- Market City Walls
- Burial Barrow
- Secret Fey Fountain
- Sewer Tunnels
- Colosseum of Challenges
- Desert Caravanserai
- Port Bastion
- Riverwood Toll Castle
- Spider Queen Throne

- Orc Desert Camp
- Dwarven Throne Hall
- Hanging Gardens
- Jungle Temple Entrance
- Dragon’s Hoard
- Medieval Jail
- Celestial Gate
- Village Hunting Guild
- Hell’s Cocktail Lounge
- Ropebridge Chasm

How much are the Czepeku Map Packs?
Each of the new digital map packs retails for $5.99 USD on D&D Beyond. It’s not clear yet if they will be available as a bundle in the near future or if additional maps will be made available.
Notably, this is fairly comparable to what you get as a Czepeku Patreon member. The big advantage, however, is having full integration with D&D Beyond, meaning you can easily use the Wizards of the Coast’s official tokens, campaign materials and other elements with the maps.

Final Thoughts
With the collapse of the Sigil VTT, it’s likely Wizards of the Coast will be going all in with the D&D Beyond Maps platform, which (despite still being in Beta) is comparable to other major 2D VTTs like Roll20 and Fantasy Grounds. It therefore makes sense that WotC would lean into a popular map creator like Czepeku to bring in their own designs into the platform. You can download the map packs now directly on D&D Beyond.
