At its core, Dungeons & Dragons is a game that’s designed to appeal to players from all walks of life. Yet the barrier to entry can also be difficult for players with visual and physical disabilities when it comes to something as fundamental as rolling dice.
Fortunately, Sirius Dice may have found a solution, teaming up with Wizards of the Coast to release a new product designed specifically to make tabletop gaming more inclusive. The new Dungeons & Dragons: Accessible Adventures Disability Pride Dice Set is based on research from Hasbro and WotC’s Disability & Accessibility Alliance (DAA), and are designed to help users with a variety of visual and mobility disabilities.
You can learn more about the design philosophy and goals behind the set over on D&D Beyond, or grab them directly from your local game store and Sirius Dice. Below, we take a closer look at these accessible new math rocks.

What is the new Sirius D&D Disability Pride Dice set?
The set contains 7 standard polyhedral dice (a d4, d6, d8, d10, d%, d12 and d20) designed explicitly to accommodate players with low vision, dyslexia, color vision deficiency, neurodivergence and mobility impairments.
The set also features a color palette inspired by the Disability Pride flag. To maximize legibility and ease of use, the dice faces use enlarged fonts from the OpenDyslexic typeface. The set also introduces a unique arch-style d4 designed for easier visibility and handling by users with mobility issues, alongside an accessible, transparent dice tube with an easy-open cap.

How much is the Sirius D&D Disability Pride Dice set?
The physical version of the D&D Disability Pride Dice Set retails for $19.99 USD (not including shipping and handling). Each set also comes with a redeemable code to unlock an official D&D Beyond digital version of the dice. Alternatively, you can purchase them as a standalone product for $1.99 USD on D&D Beyond.
Notably, $10 from every purchase is also directly donated to the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD), which works to break down stigmas around disability and offers a wide range of programming.

Final Thoughts
It’s amazing to see tabletop accessories actively dismantling real-world barriers so that more players can engage with the hobby. It’s also great to see both Wizards of the Coast and Sirius working together to raise awareness of disability and create a product that actually helps.
You can pick up the physical set of the dice now from your local game store or Sirius Dice.
