It’s official: Wizards of the Coast is heading to Azeroth, with the company recently unveiling a new D&D: World of Warcraft crossover. Scheduled for release in November 2026, the upcoming sourcebook will contain new species, subclasses, spells and magic items all based on Blizzard’s iconic MMORPG.
As a tie-in to the upcoming book, Wizards of the Coast has also revealed a new line of D&D: World of Warcraft Dungeon Miniatures. There will be two sets in total, each containing 7 minis: one for the Horde and one for the Alliance. Surprisingly, the new figures are being produced internally by Hasbro and not long-time D&D miniatures producer WizKids.

The new D&D WoW minis come in two sets, on for the Horde and one for the Alliance, each of which contains seven unpainted miniatures covering a variety of sizes and including several well-known characters from the video game:

Each of the new sets of D&D WoW minis retails for $24.99 USD (not including shipping and handling). That’s actually a surprisingly decent price point considering that a standard unpainted D&D WizKids mini is around $9 to $10 USD.
When are the new D&D Warcraft Miniatures coming out?
The two sets will be released on November 1st, 2026, which is actually several weeks before the new D&D WoW supplement (which will be released on November 17th, 2026). The minis will also be heavily featured in the upcoming Season of Champions, running from October to December 2026, which will be focused on the World of Warcraft setting.

Final thoughts
Wizards of the Coast’s crossover with World of Warcraft is the first entry in their new D&D Universes Beyond line, so there’s a lot riding on its success.
