New Ravenloft: The Horrors Within DM Screen Unveiled

Wizards of the Coast has just revealed a brand new Dungeon Master Screen, which also serves as a tie-in to their upcoming Ravenloft: The Horrors Within supplement. Slated for release later this summer, the new DM screen features brand new artwork, plus several tables that are specifically designed for running D&D horror campaigns. You can pre-order the screens now from your local game store, D&D Beyond and on Amazon.

Notably, this marks the first official Dungeon Master’s screen from Wizards of the Coast in almost two years, following the previous version that was released back in November 2024 as part of the D&D 5.5E rules update. Below, we head behind the screen and take a closer look at what’s included.

What’s included in the new Ravenloft Dungeon Master’s Screen?

The new DM screen uses the standard four-panel, fold out design. The front features brand new artwork featuring a group of adventurers (including one that appears to be Doctor Rudolph van Richten) making their way through various Domains of Dread.

The interior consists of a list of all D&D 5.5E Conditions (on panel 1), a list of Actions and Damage charts (on panel 2), assorted tables related to skill checks, object AC/HP, DC ranges, light and cover (on panel 3) and a table of random horror-themed encounters (on panel 4).

How much is the new Ravenloft DM screen?

The new DM screen retails for $24.99 USD (not including shipping and handling). This puts it on par with the 2024 DM screen, which retailed for $24.99 USD at the time of its launch (although you can now pick them up for a bit cheaper).

When is the new Ravenloft DM screen coming out?

The screen will be released on June 16th, 2026 to coincide with the release of Ravenloft: The Horrors Within. Notably, this is also the time period during which the new Season of Horror will be taking place.

Final thoughts

The new Ravenloft DM screen doesn’t necessarily feel like a must-own accessory, but it is a nice touch if you do decided to run a Ravenloft campaign. It’s also part of a much larger push around the Domains of Dread, which also includes a new Tarokka deck set and Map Pack.

We’ll be keeping a close eye on the new screen in the days ahead and will offer a full review closer to launch. In the meantime, you can pre-order them now from your local game store, D&D Beyond and on Amazon.
