New WizKids DnD Minis Cover Classic Monsters from S to T

When it comes to Dungeons & Dragons, there are few books as influential as the original Monster Manual. Written by D&D co-creator Gary Gygax and published in 1977, the book introduced some of the game’s most iconic creatures. Over the past year or so, third-party miniature creator WizKids has been paying homage to this legendary tome, slowly working through some of the greatest monsters from A to Z.

The latest iteration is WizKids’ D&D Classic Collection: Monsters S-T, which offers up seven new minis pulled from the pages of the old school RPG lore. You can order the set now from your local game store, WizKids or Amazon. Notably, they mini comes in a collectors box that resembles the original Monster Manual. Below, we take a closer look at all the details.

When was the “D&D Classic Collection: Monster S-T” released?

The set was made available online in late February 2025, so should be available at most physical retailers (although supplies and inventory may be limited, depending on where you live). The previous five sets, which incudes A-C, D-F, G-J, K-N and O-R, are also widely available if you’re looking to round out the collection.

Final Thoughts

The 1977 Monster Manual is a seminal piece of Dungeons & Dragons history, so it’s great to see some of the original creatures and artwork continuing on with table-usable miniatures. The figures look great and really do seem to capture the old school aesthetic The price point also isn’t bad considering you’re getting 7 fully painted minis and if you’re a fan of the original Monster Manual or just looking to add some new creatures to your game, it’s definitely a decent buy.
